My dad's also helping me out a bit, that's cool. I'm happy and thankful he's doing so. it was his idea to call the temp agency, so if it works, i owe him some mucho thanks. so, THANKS DAD!

my one friend and i were talking. she was irritating my boyfriend so he kinda stormed off. ^^;;; my friend goes, "you can do so much better!" i shrugged my shoulders. he's my boyfriend. i happen to think he's a very VERY nice person, and he's a hell of alot nicer than most of the guys in this SCHOOL! I'm not kidding either! My boyfriend is a gem~! He's the best! it hurt when she said that, but i chose to say nothing. better to say nothing when you don't have anything nice to say, right?

ah well. things are looking up a bit, don't ya think?

after October 10th, I have no idea when i will be posting again. I'm going to be net-less and job-less (still), car-less (not like i ever had one) and on my way to home-less. I'll be computer-less too, since farfie decided to be a pain in my ass for some reason. he need fixed i tell you! FIXED!

and all because I failed school. i have to go through the hassle that is applying for assistance and pray that someday i can go back. i can't get a leave of absense because i don't have the right problem (not a serious medical, legal, or emergency). Why can't "I have no money and i'm homeless" count for anything? tsk. tsk. this world sucks

oh well. I'll be back. Guaranteed. please keep in touch! whenever i'm near a computer I'll be sure to post something! (hell, maybe i'll live near a library, then i can have net access of sorts... ^.-)

I never thought I'd use Luna Sea to begin an entry but it just... fell crashing into my head! I kid you not. But anyway....

I am having major problems in school, apparently my attempt at catching up failed. *sigh* but anyway, i have two choices. Either take a leave of absense for next quarter or completely drop out. Either way i'm going to have to go to the "welfare office" or whatever and get some kinda public assistance. I never wanted to be on welfare but it's starting to look like I might be, well, temporarily on it. My father says he's "done" with me and my school things (ok, that's fine.). Well, that's what I heard he said. I've not talked to him in a week. Not like I want to or anything. he's only going to yell at me... *falls over*

Ah well. Hopefully I can sort this mess all out and work things out. too bad they don't sell band-aids for people's lives.

P.s. When I'm near a computer, I'll be sure to blog. Please keep me in your thoughts! And I'm gonna miss blogging to everyone! Hugs to all you readers, especially to Striker @ wudan mountain .

oi. I'm back! and i bring music video reviews for all! Yaaaahhhh~

~Luna Sea~

Capacity Document~ well, first things first... I really didn't understand what they were saying in this hour long vid, so i might be wrong in what they are doing. Bear with me here.... Capacity Document is the story of Luna Sea's 10th Anniversary Never Sold Out Capacity Infinity Gig. (What a long name!) It pretty much tells about what happened behind the scenes in the week or so about before the concert. We see Ryuichi surfing, Sugizo in the studio, Inoran in a tent, J in a fast car and his red apartment, and Shinya on a boat. We also see a typhoon crash their whole stage setup (which caused my boyfriend to explode in laughter). It's like the clips with each member were them trying to find "inner peace" (i could be wrong). Quite frooty.

And my favorite part. Inoran's Tent. The tent was set up outside, it was totally bizarre. Ino was just sitting in it, talking about stuff, playing the guitar, and watching the campfire. Why he was in a tent? I wish I knew! It was quite amusing. Moving right along... this vid/documentary thing gets an 8 , due to my need of english subtitles.

Sin after Sin ~ Where do I begin? This one is the video of Luna Sea's concert at the Nippon Budokan (I think, i could be wrong) on their Garden of Sinners tour waaaaaayyyy back in the early 90s. *cue howling laughter* You have them in absolutely ridiculous outfits (especially Ryuichi, and his stupid caftans) being absolutely ridiculously goth.... eeechhhhhh.... HOWEVER, the music is good. you got performances of Slave, Providence, Moon, Claustrophobia, Jesus, Wish, and... alot of other songs i can't remember.... *falls over laughing at the "gayness" ryuichi exhibits during "wish"* Oh yeah, for all the ladies, you got Sugi and those Boots. *watches the sugi fanclub run and watch* i did like their tour t-shirts (worn during "wish") and Ryuichi's voice is really cool here (pre-him not smoking and stuff). i give it a 9.5 because those were the good ol' days of visual kei.

Crazy About You (special edit version) ~ Live backstage on Luna Sea's Brand New Chaos tour, It's Crazy About You! This vid mostly is made up of really cute backstage clips (one in particular of Inoran bowing his head comes to mind) and some pics of them from back in the day. Really fun to watch, especially if you've never seen much luna sea. I found this one on WinMX, i think it originally was something given to the Slave FC members? (It says "Slave" at the end of it). ah well. Fun to watch, if you ever wondered what happens backstage. 8

Love Song (special version) ~ my friend gacktie-chan said i had to see this one... so he sent it on over. This PV was basically a retrospective of all of luna sea's PVs, lives, etc. You can see their evolution from Bad hair days, Bad fashion days, to "we're over 30 and no longer can we be almost goth". It's fun to watch them grow. Funner still is trying to identify which pv each little shot came from (like "ooh Rosier! I for You! Gravity! Storm"). A few clips of Ryuichi are funny, like the Ryu in a box, Ryu in cement blocks... J getting sand on him... Also there's a clip of Shinya hugging someone, and the famous Sugi/Ryu kiss. It don't own as much as End of Sorrow but... 10 because it brings back memories.

[kr] Cube PV ~ Oh god... where do I begin... this pv has a plot. I believe Go reviewed it before, check out his page for screencaps and things. Okaaaayyyy.... basically Die is a hired hitman, after kyo and toshiya, Kaoru is a bartender and god only knows what shinya's role is... it's really fun to watch, and it has GUNS! and BLOOD! And more espionage than a bad cop movie! 8 and you should look at Kaoru's hat.

As I said in the previous entry, i would be back with video clip reviews. And here is part one of them. If you want to acquire any of these clips, I reccommend trying WinMX or asking around. I got mine mostly off of winmx and through a very close friend (Thanks!). Also, if you have dialup modem, don't even try downloading them, it'll take you DAYS.) Another thing, alot of these that are PVs are available on video clip collections as well, so try any of the online stores or ebay to find those. 1 is "don't bother, it just sucks" and 10 "it rules!".

End of Sorrow-PV ~ Well, what can I say... it rocks. However, inbetween clips of the band rocking out in concert, there's just way too much ryuichi. it's good though, just him around cityscapes at night singing... wierd stuff. I honestly say this is a 10 , definately worth your time to try and find.

Desire-PV ~ Okaaay... once again, it's Ryuichi Overkill, but it's all in black and white! and Sugizo (??) has a gun? who does he think he is, K from Gravitation? And there's too many closeups of the "motherfucker" part of J's bass! This pv is just shots of them performing on a soundstage, no real plot whatsoever.... however it's well done, and fun to watch. 9

Desire Live from End of Period~ Better! You can see how Ryu sounds in concert, marvel over how they looked! Sugi's wearing THE BOOTS in this clip too, for all you fangirls out there... and J? what is up with the cowboy hat, dear? it's also cool how the whole audience says "shadows of my luv"... 8.5

Inoran-Won't Leave My Mind PV~ ok ok, i know but it fits... All right. Poor Ino. This PV does him no justice. As so-so as the song is, Inoran just isn't made for PV. It's not that he's not good-looking, it's just... he's too darn shy for it. This PV makes no sense either, and is hard to watch.... I'd say the high point is Ino strumming his guitar and looking like Ino. My advice to Inoran: Don't try doing the lip-syncking thing, get someone else to do it for you, and just play the guitar. I'll say it again... Poor Ino. 4 because i feel bad giving Ino a 1. The PV itself deserves a 1 . Sorry, Inoran. T.T

hi everyone. sorry for the lack of bloggage. i've been insanely in crisis. i've had LOTS of work to do (most of which keeps piling up) and lots of problems. do you want to hear what's been going on? *watches reader nod head sympathetically* okay.

well, let's see.. there's always school. i don't feel like talking about that.

i'm moving out of the dorm soon (that's nice) but it turns out one of my new roomates is friends with some of the biggest weed-smokers in the dorms.... ya see... this could be a really dangerous situation for me, because of all the medicine i take, if i even smell the stuff i start getting sick, i mean i can't be around it. and i talked to the people in charge of the housing stuff and there's nothing they can do. all they told me is that i have to put my foot down and say there's no partying in my room. well, how do you put your foot down when the person and her friends probably are much bigger, stronger and don't give a flying fuck what you say? what's an insignificant 19 year old's opinion matter? exactly. please pray i don't end up sick in the hospital because of other people (not my) stupid decisions. i'm very scared. please wish me luck.

i wish that i was strong and could defend myself and wasn't so weak and stuff. it hurts when you realize that you pretty much think because of other people is why you are alive. i barely have any energy or willpower to do anything anymore. my room currently is a mess. i need to pack because i move out next week. i don't know what to do. i just want to throw everything away.....my dad would like that, less for him to worry about having to move. right now i hurt. sadly i have no idea where to find a bandage to make the hurt go away.

i've been trying to play chrono cross. (mostly i've been watching my boyfriend play, he's really good at it.) he's trying to get to the song of marbule part. i really want to get the soundtrack to the game, it's alot of really pretty music. i really love this game, it's just pretty to look at, fun to play, etc... the artwork in the game is oddly calming and reminds me of watercolors.

oi... i've been busy. yay! for me... I'm getting the hang of darkstalkers! I have DS3 for my playstation. It's fun... but i suck so bad at it that i have to play on one star difficulty to even get ANYWHERE!! Argh. I guess that's a pretty obvious sign i'm a girl, right... no coordination at fighting games at all... @.@ I'd have to say the game is AWESOME... especially in TURBO speed... my fav. characters are morrigan and q. bee. lilith is ok too. But what makes me mad is when i end up in some mad-impossible 34 hit combo... against felicia! nooooo! i wish the game had analog support... my thums start hurting after awhile. >.<;;

well... it's odd.. i found a japanese site with absolutely ADORABLE lilith icons... i can't wait until i get my new computer... ^-^ but what's with so many japanese hp on darkstalkers having naughty fanart... ? @.@ (eyeroll) i don't understand... if i ever get some GOOD reference pics of the girl charas from that game i'm just going to draw them with NORMAL chests for once! argh. i wonder if girl fanartists in japan draw them with big boobs too? (we're not talking like how the character designer has them, we're talking WAAAAYYYY too big.. like watermelons) oh wait... girls probably don't play video games.

What else do i miss... hm... Samurai Shodown. Now THAT is a cool fighting game. It makes me feel old... i remember being a wee sprite (okaaaay, i was 11...) and having a party at the roller rink and they had a SNK machine... ya know, the Neo*Geo ones... but I'd always wanna play Samurai Shodown... and I sucked (Well, duh, i'm a girl... that's a given--But i'm pretty good at Metal Slug). but it just was so fun... those were the daaaaaays!!

and of course... shizumaru hisame (falls over in drool) -- i've not got to play any of the later SS games... *sigh*

argh. Hey! I'm back to blog again! took a brief break there but fear not, i'm still alive.

Today... well I played a bit of Lunar:Eternal Blue (and i'm stuck at the Blue Spire. Laugh all you want, Dan. I told you I am not the greatest RPG player).

Went to fanfiction.net ... oh dear god. Lunar fics. Mia and Jessica. *falls over laughing* And I thought Jessie and Kyle were an odd couple (at least canonically they were odd) *dies laughing* Ruby and Nall fics are adorable... they are really cool... especially... *cough* *spoiler for EB* *hack* Nall's uh... ehh... ^^;;;; i'm not telling. find it yourself. But it's well worth it. ^-^ Very cute. He's... Spunky.

Cathartic Audrey Story Telling Day!!!

well.. here goes. This story will be scary and wierd, and takes place over many years. i'm telling it now because of the significance to a certain date in my life. You've been warned. And PLEASE PLEASE ask my permission before you post this anywhere else. Thank you. my email is... manahime18(at)yahoo(dot)com. (replace the (at) with an @ and the (dot) with a . and you have it. the only reason it's written like that is because i've been hit with a rash of bizarre w3/klez virus spam. ^.^

begin the story.

Well, it was June 9. I was in 10th grade. I was not doing so well in school, what else is new? I was so happy school was almost over, but i was going to summer school, so i only had a tiny vacation. bah. i was in gym class, we weren't doing anything. I was talking to some friends and suddenly i felt as if i was going to faint. the next part, from what others have told me, i began having a seizure. seizures are scary because for about 2-5 minutes you feel like you've lost 6 hours+ because you black out. (everyone knows what seizures are, i'm going to spare the description.) I did come to, waking up in an ambulance, being rushed to the hospital. I looked at the nurse and i was like "what happened?" she replied..."you had a seizure,dear." and i looked at her in surprise."again?"

HOLD UP! AGAIN? Well, a few months earlier, i had a seizure in April. However when i went to the ER, they just said i fainted.

Ok, back to the story. I spent the night in the hospital, got an MRI and EEG... and yes, indeed... I had a seizure. Great. And i missed the last day of finals too. Oh. Joy. >.<;;;

I've been on medicine ever since, and i'm happy to report, i've not had any seizures for 3 years (well it'll be 3 years June 9th). Even when I had jaw surgery.

now the odd thing about this was, during the seizure, i felt as if something LEFT my body. And it was very warm, and i saw fuzzy yellowish-white light. an out of body experience? yup. strange, don't you think?

fast-forward to last summer. I was having a horrible time in school. And not getting along with my dad. One night I just wanted it to be gone, all over. (bai bai... all reset.) well, i got ANGRY. and started ripping up pictures. I mean, violently ripping up pictures. I ripped up pictures that ordinarilly nobody would be able to touch. (among them.. Raphael, Die on the cover of BiDan...) Some of the pictures survived though... but i began to want a knife. my friend came to my room (as my roomates were hunting for the R.A.) and we walked to his room. Because his roomate was fixing my computer, my music videos were on his comp. So I fired up some Dir en grey.I had a bit of a cathartic moment (just silently sobbing) to "Ain't Afraid To die".

Now what do these two events have in common (the seizure thing, and the suicide thing?) ... well my boyfriend thinks that when i had the out of body experience, on that day i was supposed to die. however, someone thought it wasn't my time yet and gave me a second chance. He also thinks that the DEG song may have indirectly prevented me from killing myself. (thus, i think i have a more deeper dir en grey connection than most... i guess...)

and that is the end of the story. I still have depression.... it sucks. I have good days, bad days, and panic attacks over stupid crap. But i feel alot better than i used to.

p.s. when i came back to school, for 11th grade... the nurse said to me.. "How are you! We thought you were dead!"

agghhhh~ i feel like food in the fridge that has grown the cure to all known viruses on earth. translation: i feel like shit. yesterday, i had a horrid day... my one teacher kept bothering me... he was telling the whole class how sick he was and how he was going to be sitting down. i was sitting far, far away from him. for some reason he kept getting up and bothering me. on top of that my zip disk got eaten and i couldn't work on anything for an hour. because of the teacher bugging me i was in tears. it just shook me up. and for some reason when i go to school, i don't want to go. is that bad? i mean, i love what i do, but i just can't stand being around the other people and some of my teachers. i feel really stressed and get all shaky when i'm in class and paranoid/nervous when anyone walks past me... i've had panic attacks in school as well. i don't know what's going on... i hope i'm not getting some new mental illness... just what i need. and i was so upset i almost scared my boyfriend. god, that sucks.

and frosting on the cake... my roomate pissed me off. end of story. can't say anything else about her... who knows if anyone she knows is reading this, they'll tell her the whole thing and she'll get all offended... boo hoo. LIKE I FUCKING CARE!

i wanna move to my own place where i can decorate with MY things, say what I WANT to say, do what I WANT to do... and not have to worry about FUCKING GOSSIPY BITCHES! (no offense to my *REAL* friends, you know who you are. And to anyone else i apologise in advance.) I keep forgetting that living in a dorm is like a concentrated into one area version of high school. only it's 24/7, you can't escape and the only way to leave is to move or go home. it sucks.

i remembered the day i first heard X-Japan. I got a HUGE wav file in my email, which was like the first 30 seconds of forever love. i really liked it. which lead me to trying to find more.

i remember the day. it was a sticky may afternoon, i was sitting in the library after school, surfing the internet (since my computer was kinda... incapacitated. Dad stole the plugs to it.). i decided to finally look up stuff on X-Japan, and hide since i had a chance. I kept coming across headlines from CNN: "matsumoto hideto dead at 33!" "famous japanese rock star dies of suicide" etc. in shock i read on...

... i didn't believe it. how could someone with so much going for them want to die?

later on, my senior year of school, i met sue. sue had a tape of jrock videos, among them, hide's trip to LA where he shops and drinks a whole pitcher of beer ALONE. dang. even though i couldn't understand a word he was saying, i liked it because it showed he was a normal guy, someone who was a friend of yours. someone you'd go out to the bar with and chow down on hot wings (and make a mess).

later that year i made a little papier mache and sculpey thingie based on hide. it currently hangs from the underneath part of my loft bed.

but hide... i dunno. his music always made me laugh and giggle at some of the english phrases he came up with... some of the things he sang about cracked me up (electric cucumbers! hahaha!)

even in death, he brings a smile to my face. i bet he's smiling over us now. i just wish i could have heard more of his music, maybe seen him on american mtv again...

update: i actually got that booklet thingie done, despite a Wrath of God coming through where I live, we had a power outage, plus the Macs in the dorm computer lab SUCK...

well, i'm super busy.... been working on ideas for this game i have to do for my history of info design class. our theme is property aquisition (ie, eminent domain, or buying it or buying someone out...) sounds fun, don't you think?

i bet you never knew that i have pets. well, not cats or dogs, but a tank with psycho fish! currently my dad is keeping two severums (a type of cichlid), one gold one (lemonED faye-chan) and a black stripey-ish one (shiiku), and two iridescant sharks (a kind of catfish). over the years i've had many different kinds of fish...

plecos, clown loaches-which i really love, dwarf gourami (which ate an angelfish, totally not typical gourami behavior), firemouth cichlid, tiger barbs, zebra danios, chinese algae eaters, kissing gouramis, and... pacus. we sadly had to get rid of the pacus (who lived with faye-faye and shiiku) cuz they just got too darned big and were on the verge of breaking the tank. (and were always beaten up to some degree... very self-destructive fish...) however, they were quite fascinating while we had them... grew to about 12"...

agh. i have been busy with final projects/tests... so stressed out...

the other night, i was getting ready for bed, and i noticed these funny bruises on my lower back, along my spine. i have no clue where they came from. they just... appeared. i kid you not. maybe they're the strange bruises the neurologist was talking about (from my medication)? evil side effects.... gwah... or maybe tis cause i've been carrying a backpack? all i know for sure about them is that i was NOT beat up. end of story. nobody touched me.

i spent three hours last night mounting my little goth-lolita font person... what an adventure. the acetate and tape did NOT stick, so i ended up putting masking tape to keep it sticking. gah. it don't look too bad though. ^-^

i'm going to have to sit in some major traffic to get home, since i'm riding the bus... i hate it. two bus rides to get home. lots of loooooong waiting. and my back hurts.

i'm ready to go home. very ready for the quarter to end. i hope i get good grades.

1. HAIR REVELATION! I have NO hair now (ala Die(Kisou era) only my hair is brown), and i wanna grow it out. it's a tossup now between Hiro (La'Cryma Christi-Lhasa era, you know, that long girly in the eyes look, so nice...), Sussy (ex-sex machineguns-when it WASN'T frizzed too bad) and Kaoru (Dir en grey)-long but with the braids in the back. i think i might do the braid thing on the bottom and wear the rest in a pony tail or something... ah so i didn't mention it! i finished that cd booklet thingie for quark class. i did dir en grey. and damn, is it pretty! (not only is it very ... close to professional... but... it's pretty big pdf file.) eee.... something scary just came into my eye range... and thank gosh it's gone... but anyway... the DEG cd cover thing... i heart it. it's so beautiful. i worked my butt off on it... i'd lurve to show it to y'all but it's tooooo biiiiiiig of a pdf, you know? and not everyone has frickin acrobat to see it in... sooooo.... think you can chill in suspense?

yeah, it took me forever... i went ABOVE and BEYOND requirements. i had to edit out URLs on the pictures. I made my OWN background (instead of solid bg). I went and tracked down translations (from cassiel's site, and centigrade j)... and... i did a front and back of the inner part (the part where the japanese lyrics to kisou are hidden). and... it's about 8 pages, the liner notes part (that's done in spreads, two pages on a piece of paper, meaning about 16 pages total... something like that)...

soooo all this weekend i'm drawing out thumbnails, micron renderings of this thing... yeah, i worked backwards. so what?
so that by monday, i can have all my stuff i owe to the quark teacher done. phew. maybe i'll save my butt from getting a C in that class... oi.

i don't know what's up in production... i'm having a real chat with him on monday... see what i need to print out for him or finish... i have a sneaking suspicion i owe him something...

ah well... sooner or later i'll scan the pretty dir en grey cd booklet i made. you all wanna see it right? well, ya kinda have to wait. like... till next year. ;.; i'm sorry.

i really need to redesign this blog... it's so... blah.

i had a horrible day, as usual. i just about (scratch that) i had a bit of a nervous breakdown today in class. i just... started crying. too much work, too much stress... it just isn't working for my health. i feel as if a black cloud is falling over my head. it's raining, only instead of it being a nice shower it's a hard rain, it hurts. *sigh*

moving right along, i was noticing that luna sea uses alot of 10 point words in their songs. like i mean if you used the names of their songs in scrabble, you'd probably shock your friends... i mean.. LOOK~ lamentable, claustrophobia, rejuvenescence, unlikelihood (my spelling is horrible, sorry...)... and it's just... odd. i thought of this when i was reading a japanese luna sea faq, there was a whole section devoted to what's x word mean? like most luna sea songs are titled in english. i swear it reminds me of random english dictionary hopping. like, "ooooh! i like this word! let's call our song this!" it just sounds soooo coooool. (i mean there's only two? luna sea songs that are titled in japanese...) but i think there's more to it than vapid dictionary fun LOL. no offense to luna sea or their fans.

more luna sea... once again, i mention english in their songs. it is almost like... wierd, because some of the phrases are creepily... i dunooo...just read.

funny. i took a dog breed selector test... poodle was #1. the little poodles that fit in your lap. *giggle* siberian husky came in at 13 (my cousin has one of those, it's HUGE, and psycho sometimes), welsh corgi came in at somewhere in the 40-60 range, as did the springer spaniel (my friend has/had one of those, gracie was a trip... such a funny dog she was.), sadly, the breed that i am interested in getting sometime, a pappilon, came in toward the bottom. *sigh* sorry, shinya. although puppy is very cute though. ^-^

so far my weekend has sucked majorly. >.<

let's see, i get a nasty sinus cold. yuck. and this is my easter break it's ruining here, bahhh... *achoo!*

i'm trying to rest, friday night, and my stepsister comes crashing into my room... "pick up the phone!" so I do.
it's a funeral director. uh-oh. he proceeds to tell me, very nicely i may add, that my grandfather has passed away. "you're kidding me, right?" no, he died thursday. had a stroke and pneumonia. oookay... he needed to talk to my mother, so i told him how to get in touch with her.

a few hours later... my mother calls. "everything's ok" she's took care of it all... (in a way)... i was confused as to how i should feel... i mean he's my grandfather... but how are you supposed to feel when this guy was only really around when it was a holiday, and all the other times he was an alkie? it was just... confusing... but a bowl of cream of wheat made me feel better....

i eventually did try to go to bed.... but thanks to the frickin head cold, I GOT NO SLEEP! my eyes, well underneath them, felt like there was someone pushing on them... and it kept me up all night. ;.; bah.

after all this chaos, i decided i should call my great-grandmother... see how she is, since it's easter... she was all happy to hear from me, so we chatted... i made arrangements to see her too, next time i have a long break from college.

and... brave little me... i decided i should see my grandmother's grave. she died when i was 14 or 15. i never went to her grave, because i was kinda traumatised by the whole experience of her getting sick, and dying, and funerals. but i figure since it's been a long time, and i'm kinda... older? maybe i should go. she'd be reallllly angry if i didn't....
